PHOTOS: Soldiers Storm Petrol Station, Punish Civilians On Queue

Some Soldiers this afternoon, April 30, stormed a petrol station in Lagos and ordered some civilians who were fighting to buy fuel to lie in the sun for 30 minutes.

The incident which occurred at the Fatgbems filling station in Mile 2 was captured in pictures by Riri Blog, as the civilians were tortured by the Soldiers for allegedly behaving unruly.

Incidences of Nigerian Soldiers subjecting civilians to degrading treatment is often reported in the media.
Last year, some Soldiers were accused of setting ablaze four BRT buses in Lagos over allegations that a BRT bus driver killed their colleague.
