Yesterday Forbes released it’s list of the Top 5 Richest Hip Hop kings and surprisingly, Diddy beat Dr Dre to the top spot. Dr Dre last year sold his Beats By Dre Company to Apple in 3 billion dollar deal so you would expect that he’s the richest but no, Diddy is!

Very sad news from Enugu state! A 59 year old grandmother was on Wednesday found dead in her bedroom at the One Day Road, Awkunanaw area of Enugu. The woman identified as Mrs. Agnes Elue, from Ogwashi-Uku, Delta state was said to have been clubbed to death last Sunday by her teenage house boy whose identity is being withheld. Elue was an academic staff of the Federal Government College, Enugu‎ before her death.

A 19-year-old suspected internet fraudster, Ojosipe Adebayo, has been arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, before Justice A.O Ipaye of the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja on a two- count -charge bordering on possession of a document containing false pretences and forgery.

The defendant is allegedly a member of a syndicate of internet fraudsters that specialize in using fake cheques and scam mails to defraud unsuspecting victims.
When the charges were read to the accused person, he pleaded not guilty.

Buhari Orders Aides, Security Personnel To Obey Traffic Rules

President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari, has instructed police and military security personnel attached to him to respect traffic regulations during his movements.
In a statement released by his media team in Abuja, Mr. Buhari said respect for the law would be the guiding philosophy of his administration, adding, “without leadership by example, the ordinary citizens would become copycats of the lawlessness of their leaders”.

Okonjo-Iweala Warns Buhari On State Of Nigeria’s Treasury

The country with the richest economy in Africa has to beg for credits to pay government salaries. Nigeria is borrowing money to pay its expenses, Nigeria’s finance minister reveal – and that’s going to be a huge problem for Buhari’s incoming government.

Minister of finance in the outgoing Goodluck Jonathan’s government Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala revealed that Nigeria has no money to pay salaries to government workers.

Professor James Nwoye Adichie, who was kidnapped on Saturday May 2, 2015, has been freed by his abductors. Prof. Adichie is the father of award-winning author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.

Professor Adichie was travelling from the university town of Nsukka to his hometown Abba, in Anambra state when the kidnappers abducted him and his driver at about 10 am. The abduction occurred near Nsukka.

On Tuesday, Jimi Agbaje was granted leave to inspect all polling materials and documents used in the April 11 governorship election in the state, by the tribunal. The three-man tribunal, led by Justice Muhammad Sirajo, gave the order while ruling on a motion ex-parte filed by Mr. Agbaje’s counsel, Clement Onwuenmunor.

The tribunal also ordered INEC to provide certified true copies of all polling documents, including printed data from the card reader machine, in each polling unit.
