A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has ordered former Anambra State Governor, Chief Jim Nwobodo, to vacate a mansion he lives in the highbrow Maitama District, Abuja, over unpaid rent.

Justice S. B. Belgore gave the order upon finding that Nwobodo had defaulted in paying rent and refused to relinquish possession of the property at the expiration of his tenancy.
The judge also ordered the ex-governor to relinquish the property to the owner, Adin-Miles International Limited.

Gunmen stormed a building in an upmarket area of the Afghan capital Kabul on Wednesday night, and shooting was continuing, an army commander said.

Police cordoned off the area around the Park Palace guest house, a popular spot for foreigners in Kabul's Kolola Pushta area. There was no immediate word of any casualties, nor any claim of responsibility.

Mrs Roseline Akinsola, 50, on Monday delivered a set of twins after 14 years of childlessness. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Akinsola, who works at the Ekiti State Christian Pilgrims Board, was full of praises to God for answering her prayers.

The mother of two girls, who weighed 4.2kg and 2.3kg, advised other couples in need of children not to lose hope. In an interview with NAN, she expressed gratitude to God for giving her the children after several years.

A Romanian teenager has been electrocuted to death by a live wire after climbing on top of a train to take a selfie(above).

Anna Ursu, 18, and a friend went to a train station in the town of Iasi in the northeast of the country to take a ‘special selfie’ that she intended to post on Facebook.

But as she lay on top of the train and stuck one of her legs in the air, an electrical field surrounding the overhead cables sent 27,000 volts zapping through her body, causing her to burst into flames.
