Niger Delta Militant Group Blows Up Gas Trunklines In Delta State

According to Vanguard, AN Urhobo militant group, Urhobo Gbagbako yesterday, claimed responsibility for two explosions that rocked two major gas trunklines belonging to the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company, NPDC, located on the boundaries of Afiesere and Ekredjebo communities and Otedo and Edjovwe communities both in Ughelli North and Ughelli South Local Government Areas of Delta State.

Nigerian troops on Tuesday, stormed the Sambisa Forest and rescued about 300 women and girls. Here are some of the images of the rescued persons;.......

Four s*x workers, who allegedly fought publicly over a customer, on Friday appeared before an Itire Magistrates’ Court in Lagos. The police charged the s*x workers with affray and breach of public peace.

The accused are Joy Morkoha, 37; Blessing Ugbo, 26; Tayo Folarin, 35, and Tina Osakwe, 25. The Prosecutor, Insp Ezekiel Ayorinde, told the court that the accused committed the offences on May 14 at a hotel on Shobowale Street, Ilasa, Mushin, Lagos.

Nigerian troops yesterday rescued more women and children from the said forests. According to the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman who made this known to press men yesterday said a soldier died, while four others were injured, but many boko haram insurgents were killed in the battle.
