Sad report! The Ogun State Police Command has arrested an unemployed man, Ishau Arowolo, for allegedly raping a 10-year-old girl, Sofiatu Akilolu, to death in Orisada-Eyo Community in the Yewa South Local Government Area of the state.

25-year-old Arowolo, after raping the girl, allegedly caused her to drown. It was said that the suspect lurked in a bush near the community river to perpetrate the act.

Baby Buried Alive 8-Days In Cemetery (Photos)

According to Daily Mail Online reports,

A newborn baby has been found alive after being buried for 8 days in a cemetery in the mountains of Guangxi province in southern China by his parents who were disappointed after he was born with a cleft lip.

The photos were taken in the suburbs of a number of cities, including New Delhi, Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Udaipur, Jaipur, Agra, Varanasi and Kalkota. Speaking about the images, Roberto says the bodies of the people captured seem to be telling a story;

'I feel that their faces, eyes, hands and wrinkles are all so expressive - it's as if their body is telling a story. They live such simple, happy lives, and I think it's an ethical example that our society should follow.')

The Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Mr. Mike Okiro, on Tuesday quoted President Goodluck Jonathan as informing the Police Council that he sacked Mr. Suleiman Abba, as the Inspector-General of Police because of the gross indiscipline he noticed among the rank and file under his watch.

Okiro spoke with State House correspondents after a meeting of the council during which Mr. Solomon Arase, who was earlier appointed as Abba’s successor in acting capacity, was confirmed.

Mysterious death of a man in a church located in Peace Estate, Baruwa, Ipaja, Lagos.
Identified as Waheed Majekodumi, was allegedly found dead in a branch of Christ Apostolic Church.

It was gathered that the deceased, who lives in the Abule area of Ipaja and works in a block making industry, ran into the church shouting “help, help, I will die.” But before help could come his way, he gave up the ghost.
