Folakemi Odoaje revealed on twitter that a graduate working in a private school in Ibadan earns N6,000 as salary. Not sure if she's talking about herself but she said the graduate took the job after wasting so much money applying for better paying jobs. Folakemi said this while responding to Senator-elect, Ben Murray-Bruce's tweet that the least any staff of his organization, Silverbird group, receives as salary before tax is N25,000. The Federal Accounts Allocation Committee on Friday shared the sum of N388.339 billion among the three tiers of government as revenue allocation for April.

The Fegge Divisional Police, Onitsha, has arrested 19-year-old Joshua Uzochukwu Ezirim, for allegedly using a kitchen knife to stab his father, Mr. Sampson Ezirim, a book seller at Onitsha Main Market, to death.

A source revealed that late Ezirim, who is from Imo State, was stabbed more than 30 times by Joshua, his last son, after he chased away his mother and siblings from their flat and locked the doors.

Burundi Coup Leaders Arrested After President's Arrival

2 out out of three army generals that attempted to overthrow Burundi President Pierre Nkurunziza a some days ago have been arrested. Former Burundi Defence minister Gen Cyrille Ndayirukiye was one of the three arrested today.

But the general who led the coup and made the announcement on radio, Gen Godefroid Niyombare has not been found(pictured left)President Nkurunziza, who returned back to Burundi yesterday from Tanzania is expected to make a national address later today.

How Fighter Pushes Peacemaker Into Path Of Speeding Truck (Photos)

Tragedy struck on Limca Road in the Iyana Isolo area of Lagos State on Thursday after a speeding truck crushed a warehouse driver to death.

The driver, identified as Rafiu Baale, was pushed into the path of the truck by a tricycle driver, Imeh Matthew, during an affray.Imeh and his brother were in the tricycle when a car driver bashed it.

                 Flying Eagles’ coach, Manu Garba, will later on Friday announce his final 21-man squad for this month’s FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand.
                 At least nine players will be cut from the 30-man preliminary squad, sl10.ng reports.

The incoming administration of General Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has again raised alarm that it is yet to receive handover notes two weeks before MAY 29 handover.

General Buhari Is Not Happy With President Jonathan (See Why)

President-elect Muhammadu Buhari has accused the outgoing Goodluck Jonathan government of not giving him “tips” on how to kick-start his administration on May 29.
